How does HP4 work?

The HP4 coating differs significantly from traditional insulation technologies in several ways:

• HP4 is not based on conventional insulation materials, but rather a coating capable of heat reflection and layer-based heat reflection. It is important to know that due to the vacuum inside the vacuum microspheres, heat – in the absence of a heat-conductive medium – can only spread via radiation. As the heat enters and exits the spheres, the radiation is disrupted, losing its original direction and being reflected back into the room in a homogeneous manner, independent of its original path. • During the winter months, heat from the room's surrounding walls reaches the HP4 coating, and it cannot spread through heat transfer due to the lack of a conductive medium. Instead, it continues as radiation, being reflected and staying in the building. • The HP4 vacuum microspheres not only reflect heat back from the wall but also result in pleasant heat radiation, creating a very good thermal sensation. Through radiation, the rays directly transfer their energy to the objects in the room without heating the intermediate air. This means that using HP4 requires significantly less heating energy to achieve a comfortable temperature. Unlike point heating, heat from a wall treated with HP4 spreads evenly throughout the room. Even with low room temperatures, it provides a pleasant sensation of warmth, and heating costs can be reduced by 20-40%, depending on the room's characteristics. During warmer months, the HP4 coating absorbs moisture from the air due to its capillary effect and evaporates it due to the surface properties of the spheres. This evaporation leads to a cooling sensation, allowing us to save on air conditioning. The HP4's large, disordered internal surface helps transport moisture capillarily out of the wall. Furthermore, it can store moisture in its surface, thereby regulating the room's humidity. This moisture-regulating effect makes the HP4 coating ideal for use in high-humidity rooms such as basements, kitchens, bathrooms, showers, and saunas. The coating also eliminates the risk of mold growth.
